3D Lace

By extending and evolving traditional knitting techniques, the craft remains not only relevant but reimagined for contemporary design. 3D Lace transforms the flat language of knit into sculptural form, bridging the gap between textile tradition and modern innovation. Experimental patterns were first developed in two dimensions, then thoughtfully manipulated into three-dimensional structures—blurring the lines between surface and form.

Approaching product design through the lens of textile expertise opens the door to inventive material exploration, allowing for the emergence of entirely new concepts. This methodology fosters creative freedom while grounding innovation in the tactile, structural, and cultural richness of textile design.
